Higgins is an author of primarily children's fiction, but hopes to dabble in other areas. Higgins likes P.G. Wodehouse, G.K. Chesterton, and mispronouncing both of their names as often as she can. Sunshine, tacos, chocolate, and big thunderstorms are also appreciated, as well as dogs with funny personalities.
One of the biggest regrets of Higgins life her inability to draw since it means comic strips will never be in her wheelhouse; an excessive amount of Calvin and Hobbes is read to make up for this deficiency.
